Curbed: PassivDom Unveils Self-Sustaining, 3D-Printed Home

According to Curbed, Ukrainian company PassivDom just unveiled an off-grid, solar-powered 3D-printed prefabricated home. The project, which is called modulOne, is designed to be an eco-friendly, compact home. It features an insulating carbon and fiberglass frame, and claims to be self-sustaining. Beyond those perks, modulOne is also equipped with smart home devices, with climate systems controlled through a smartphone.
PassivDom says that modulOne can be adapted to a variety of environments. The external design is simple, with wood-paneled ceilings and floors.
