Curbed Los Angeles: Warren Buffett Lists Laguna Beach Home for $11 Million

The billionaire investor originally bought the property for $150,000.

Warren Buffett’s Laguna Beach, California home is officially for sale. The billionaire investor, who primarily lives in Omaha, Nebraska, is asking $11 million for the estate.

Buffett’s home is located in the Emerald Bay gated community, which boasts six community tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, parks and a pool. The home itself contains six bedrooms, and Buffett has made major renovations to the home. That includes buying one of its adjacent houses to hold extra guests, and connecting them via stairway.

Despite its $11 million price tag, Buffett first bought the home for $150,000 in 1971 before Laguna Beach was fully developed.
